Political scientists and supporters of the conservative idea discussed the future of Europe in Varna at a forum titled “Europe – What’s Next?”.
The event was initiated and hosted by the Youth Political Science Association and its Chair, Varna political scientist Sergey Petrov. The guest speakers were Deputy Minister of Education and political scientist Petar Nikolov, political scientist Martin Tabakov, MEP Angel Dzhambazki, expert Toncho Kraevski, and Kristiyan Shkvarek of the Youth Conservative Club. The forum was moderated by Georgi Harizanov.
According to the experts, the EU is drifting further and further from its original idea. The reasons for this are economic regulation and the issue of sanctions against “disobedient” member states. This gives rise to a different perspective on reforming the European Union.
